ground control system (GCS)

We provide cutting-edge Ground Control System (GCS) solutions designed to meet the operational demands of modern UAV missions. We offer two advanced GCS options – AeroNav and G2Nav – developed in partnership with UXV Technologies.

G2Nav

G2Nav Ground Control Station

The Rotron G2Nav is a next-generation ground control station engineered for stationary command of Rotron Aerospace’s advanced UAV systems. Designed for high-stability environments such as operations centres, tactical HQs, and airfield deployments, the G2Nav delivers precision control for extended missions where oversight, reliability, and sustained command are critical.

Radio-agnostic and UAV-agnostic, the G2Nav supports integration across Rotron’s full UAV portfolio, offering robust compatibility with a wide range of communication protocols. Its modular design allows mission-specific customisation, while the rugged construction ensures long-term performance in defence and aerospace environments.

Though built for stationary use, the G2Nav remains easily transportable and quick to deploy. It provides a powerful solution for large-scale or centralised UAV operations—offering dependable control, real-time feedback, and operational efficiency in even the most demanding static applications.

Modular Open System Architecture

Modular Architecture

Based on a modular systems approach, the G2Nav features an open-architecture design and advanced capabilities, such as Swappable Radio Modules (SRM) and Nett Warrior compatibility. Two Swappable Battery Modules (SBM) also enable easy power expansion.

High Customizability

Highly customizable

The G2Nav offers customizable configurations with modular components, enabling users to tailor control interfaces, displays, connectivity options, and power settings to meet the specific needs of unmanned operations and industries.

Ruggedization
